The Ranch was established by Arne & Emily Lüring in 1999, it is only 40 minutes’ drive west from Lusaka and consists of 2,200 Hectares of beautiful and unspoiled African bush.
The terrain varies from Miombo Forests Savanna type bush land with many different hardwood trees Baobab and a variety of Palms; large rocky outcrops are the home of a generously flourishing plant life.
Four natural springs provide ample water to some 2,000 game animals 30 species, including 14 varieties of antelope, which include excellent Livingstone Eland, Giant Kudu, Sable, Hartebeest, Impala, Oribi, Puku, Waterbuck and Tsessebe, Burchell’s Zebra, Southern Giraffe, Warthog, Bush Pig as well as a variety of small cats and Jackal all living in complete natural surrounds.
The abundent water and rich vegetation is an ideal home to hundreds different species of bird-life.
The Ranch has two luxury air-conditioned cottages with a large bathroom and generous veranda. Finishes include locally available materials, each bungalow has two queen size beds.
The bungalows are situated at one of the natural water spots, surrounded by a variety of indigenous trees to provide shade during the heat of the day.
Our past clients have mainly come from the USA, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Spain, and from within the African Continent.
Exciting packages are available for Trophy Hunters, Bird & or Game Viewing in an absolute natural atmosphere and unchanged for thousands of years, with a great variety indigenous trees, hardwood trees hundreds of years old and an abundent plant life, or Clients wanting to enjoy Zambian wildlife and what goes with on a completely individual basis.
